Women's Track & Field Sets New Records at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships

CORTLAND, NY | The Rutgers University-Newark women's track and field squad opened the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Outdoor Championships on Wednesday. 

The 4x100 quad of Brya Byrd, Chidimma Igwe, Nadya Coleman, and Zrreyah Moore set the new school record with a time of 47.46, good for second place. Igwe ran in the 100m dash and finished 12th with a time of 12.64. In the 100m hurdles, Carmelle Alexis broke her school record with a time of 15.23.

Day 2 continues tomorrow where the Scarlet Raiders will look to take down more school records.
