MAHWAH, NJ - The Rutgers-Newark men's outdoor track and Phil team competed at the Ramapo Invitational today.   

Azor Chareyre filled in where needed and in this the case he placed 13th in the javelin throw with a distance of 32.99 meters (108-03). Oscar Alvarez finished right behind him with a distance of 28.57 meters (93-08). Chareyre recorded a mark of 10.00 meters (32-09.75) in the shot put. Alvarez also had a mark of 8.07 meters (26.05.75) in the event. 

On the track, Carlos Gonzales Delgado raised in the 10,000 meters where he placed 12th with a time of 40:22.76. Fellow distance running Wascar Olivero Raced in the 5000 m where he finished with a time of 19:12.30.
