Geneva, OH – Senior Zrreyah Moore opened her NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships appearance with a strong performance in the 200-meter prelims on Thursday afternoon, finishing 13th overall with a time of 24.53 seconds.

Moore's journey to the starting line was a remarkable one. Earlier that morning, she graduated from Rutgers-Newark, receiving her degree during the university's commencement ceremony. Immediately after, her and Coach Williams caught a flight and made the drive to Geneva, arriving just in time to compete against the nation's best.

Despite the hectic travel and emotional weight of graduation day, Moore finished in the top half of a deep and talented 21-athlete field. Though she narrowly missed advancing to the finals, her performance reflected her resilience and focus.

While her run in the 200m comes to a close, Moore's championship journey is far from over. She will return to the track on Friday for the 400-meter prelims, an event where she's been a standout all season and looks to compete for a spot in Saturday's final.
