Newark, NJ – The Rutgers University-Newark women's soccer team has been honored with the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for its performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
The Team Academic Award is presented to programs that are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program and have a composite grade-point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for all student-athletes on the roster. The Scarlet Raiders achieved a 3.29 team GPA, showcasing their dedication to academic success alongside their commitment on the field.
