Arlington, VA — Rutgers‑Newark battled in a thrilling five-set match at Marymount University, edging out the Mariners 3–2. The Scarlet Raiders came out strong, taking the first two sets 25‑23 and 25‑15 behind effecient hitting and solid defense.

Marymount responded in sets three and four, adjusting their attack and forcing a decisive fifth set. Despite the Mariners' late push, Rutgers‑Newark regained control, closing out the final set 15‑8 to secure the road victory.

Michael Suarez led the Scarlet Raiders with 19 kills, while Harry Takyi added 15 and Massimo Roco contributed 8 more. Aleks Kolodziej powered the serving game with five aces, and both Takyi and Adrian Marke each recorded five blocks. Duncan Sturt orchestrated the offense with 40 assists and chipped in six digs.

The Scarlet Raiders will wrap up the regular season with Senior Day matchup against Baruch College.
