MAHWAH, N.J. – The Rutgers University–Newark track and field teams competed at the Ramapo Last Chance Twilight Meet on Friday evening, with the women finishing seventh overall with 17 points and the men placing 11th with one point.
On the men's side, Shareek Prophet placed 10th in the 100m with a time of 11.46, while Babacar Halsey earned an eighth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.37m.
For the women, Kamora Young recorded a 10th-place finish in the 100m (13.56) and added a sixth-place result in the 200m with a time of 28.15. Sanai Boyd placed seventh in the 200m (31.61), while Courtney Cooker followed in eighth (35.05). In the field events, Suhaylah Muhammad finished fourth in the long jump with a leap of 4.08m.
