JUNIOR (2013-14): Honorable Mention All-NJAC… NJAC Player of the Week… Coaches Award winner for unselfish dedication to the team... joined the R-N 1,000-point club while starting in 28 games for the 20-9 Scarlet Raiders who reached both the NJAC and ECAC Metro semifinals… finished season with 1,142 points to rank seventh on the school’s all-time scoring list… averaged 12.2 points and a team-leading 6.2 rebounds while also leading the Raiders with 73 assists and 38 steals… scored in double digits 18 times while reaching the 20-point plateau in three games… connected on 46.7% (135-289) of his field goals… dished out five or more assists in a game five times… tied his career high with 28 points while adding nine rebounds in a 77-68 loss at Stockton (1/4/14)… totaled 26 points and eight rebounds in a 64-62 win over William Paterson (12/7/13)… hauled down a season-high 10 rebounds in a 66-63 win over Kean (1/15/14)… equaled his career high with six assists in a 77-73 loss at Kean (2/19/14)… tallied 18 points and nine rebounds in an NJAC semifinal loss to William Paterson (2/26/14).
SOPHOMORE (2012-2013): All-NJAC second team… started in every game for the 20-8 Scarlet Raiders who reached the NJAC Championship game and earned an NCAA at-large berth… leading scorer (15.4) and second in rebounding (5.1)… netted double digits 22 times with one double-double… piled up 10 blocked shots with 28 steals and 57 assists… second leading scorer in the NJAC… scored 28 points, making 13 field goals, and had eight rebounds in a 78-87 triple-overtime loss at Richard Stockton (1/26/13)… scored 27 points, making 11 field goals, and had two steals win 77-60 at Montclair (12/01/12)… scored 26 points, sinking 11 field goals, win 79-62 against Kean (2/13/13)… scored 23 points, netting 11 field goals, while adding four assists and two steals win 67-62 at Moravian College (1/14/13)… scored 22 points, making 10 free throws, while adding four assists and three steals 58-46 win against TCNJ (1/05/13)… scored 22 points with a blocked shot win 68-56 against York (1/02/13)… had 11 rebounds in a 72-66 loss against Rutgers-Camden (11/20/12).

FRESHMAN (2011-12): Named NJAC Co-Rookie of the Year and the Rutgers-Newark Male Rookie Athlete of the Year after averaging 11.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals for the 14-13 Raiders who earned NJAC and ECAC Metro playoff berths… named the NJAC Rookie of the Week six times during the season… played in every game after missing the first four outings because of a foot injury… started in seven games… reached double digits in scoring 15 times including eight of the final nine games… posted a pair of double-doubles (points and rebounds)… capped season with 16 points, seven rebounds and a career-high matching five steals in a 93-80 loss to Brooklyn College (2/29/12) in the ECAC Metro playoffs… connected on seven of eight free throws on his way to a season-high 21 points to go along with seven rebounds in a 72-58 win over York NY (12/7/11)… had 19 points and eight rebounds in an 83-71 win over Montclair State (2/4/12)… piled up 13 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots in a 91-71 win over CCNY (1/4/12)… registered a dozen rebounds, 10 points, a career-high six assists and three steals in a 77-52 win over Moravian (12/5/11)… opened the season with 17 points, four rebounds and three steals in a 75-69 loss to Montclair State (11/30/11).
20010-11 (MEDICAL HARDSHIP): Three-time NJAC Rookie of the Week in the first four weeks of the season before suffering a season-ending injury in the ninth game of the season... the Scarlet Raiders started off the season with nine straight victories with him coming off of the bench as the sixth man... led all NJAC freshmen in scoring (12.4 ppg), rebounding (6.9 rpg), field goal percentage (51.9%) and free throw percentage (73.2%) despite playing just three minutes against York NY (12/10) before breaking a bone in his right foot... second on the squad in scoring and tops in rebounding through the first nine contests... was third on team in steals (7) and blocked shots (7)... netted double figures in scoring six times led by a 22-point, 7-rebound explosion in an 88-75 win over Baruch (12/6)... hauled down double-digit rebounds twice with 14 boards in the Raiders' 118-116 triple-overtime win at New Jersey City (12/1) establishing his career best... hit nine of 13 shots from the floor on his way to 18 points and six rebounds in an 89-79 win over Hunter (12/8)... had 15 points and eight rebounds in a 77-58 win over City Tech (11/19)... opened his career with 11 rebounds and seven points in an 81-72 victory over Medgar Evers... had 14 points, six rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals in an 88-65 win over TCNJ (12/04).
HIGH SCHOOL: Monmouth County Player of the Year and first team All-Shore forward at Freehold HS… four-year letterwinner who helped Colonials to back-to-back 20-win seasons and a Class B North division title as a senior… first team All-Group 3, all-district and all-division on 21-6 senior squad… played in the NJ. Scholastic Coaches Association All-Star game… netted 1,261 points (13.3 ppg) and grabbed 657 rebounds (6.9 rpg) in four seasons… averaged 20.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals as a senior.
PERSONAL: Son of Zugelis Garcia… has two sisters (Ashley and Elisa) and two brothers (Naiim and Aiden).
