PROFILE OF THE WEEK (Feb. 4, 2015)

JUNIOR (2013-14): Top frontline reserve for the 20-9 Scarlet Raiders who reached both the NJAC and ECAC Metro semifinals… played in every game, averaging 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 points while totaling 10 blocked shots, 10 assists and seven steals… shot 40.3% (25-62) from the floor and 57.6% (19-33) from the free throw line… netted a season-high 11 points by hitting five of six shots from the floor while adding four rebounds, a blocked shot and a steal in an 81-80 overtime win at Hunter (11/20/13)… hauled down a season-high nine rebounds to go along with five points and an steal in a 60-51 win over Moravian (12/10/13)… notched six points, seven rebounds and a blocked shot in a 77-62 road win over Rutgers-Camden (1/6/14).

SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Played in nine games with five starting assignments for the 9-16 Monarchs… averaged 6.9 points and 5.4 rebounds.

FRESHMAN (2010-11): At Lycoming College, saw action in 14 games for the 15-10 Crusaders… averaged 1.8 points and 1.8 rebounds while hitting 40.9% (9-22) of his field goal tries…

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-sport standout in basketball and football at Spotswood HS… earned honorable mention all-area in basketball… all-conference and second team all-area in football.

PERSONAL: Son of Stephanie and Mark Kuiper… has a younger sister (Maranie)… his uncle James played basketball for the Scarlet Raiders… plans to major in English and UTEP.
