SENIOR (2014): Blocking leader and No. 2 point producer for 9-17 Raiders as the only senior on the last NCAA D-I men’s volleyball team… only Raider to play in all 95 games while starting in all 26 matches… totaled 257.5 points on 179 kills, 14 aces, 23 solo blocks and 83 blocking assists… lead Raiders in both solo and assisted blocks (106 total) while averaging 1.12 blocks per game… led squad by hitting .331 (179 kills, 61 errors, 357 attacks)… second on the squad in service aces while putting 9.19% (274-298) of his serves in play… second on the team with a 1.88 kills per game average… registered a dozen matches in double figure points to tie for the team lead… posted five double-digit kill and two double-figure blocking matches… collected a season-high 17.0 points on 14 kills, two solos and a pair of blocking assists while hitting .524 in a 3-2 loss to Coker (3/21/14)… totaled 16.5 points on 14 kills and five blocking assists in a 3-1 win over Vassar (4/5/14)… piled up a career-high 11 blocks (three solos, 8 assists) while adding nine kills in a 3-2 win over NYU (3/15/14)… chalked up a career-high nine blocking assists while adding a solo block, eight kills and an ace in a 3-2 loss to Sacred Heart (4/9/14).

JUNIOR (2012): Led 10-15 Raiders with a .68 blocking average and a .324 (149-54-293) hitting percentage… second on the team with 55 blocks (6 solos and team-high 49 assisted)… fourth on squad with 187.5 points, 2.31 points per set, 149 kills and 1.84 kill average… posted nine double-digit point matches with five double-figure kill efforts… had 13 multiple block matches… recorded 13 kills twice… recorded 15.5 points while hitting .579 with 13 kills and five assisted blocks in a 3-2 win over Kean (1/27/12)… had 13 kills while hitting .400 (13-5-20) in a 3-2 loss to Princeton (2.17/12)…opened the season a solo and eight assisted blocks for nine stops while adding six kills in a 3-2 win over NYU (1/20/12)… hit .750 &7-1-8) with a pair of aces in a 3-0 win at York NY (2/7/12)… in a tri-match, hit .529 (11-2-17) in a 3-0 win over SUNYIT (3/3/12) and also had 11 kills plus an ace, two solos and an assisted block in a 3-2 loss at Stevens (3/30/12)… delivered a three aces in a 3-1 win at Kean (4/3/12).

SOPHOMORE (2011):  Played in all but one match for the 17-12 Raiders who reached the EVIA Championship semifinals… hit .338 (136-45-269) while ranking second on the squad in blocking (eight solos, 78 assisted, 86 total)… averaged 1.91 points, 1.39 kills and .88 blocks per set… reached double digits in points three times while recording a pair of double-figure kill matches… had multiple kills in all but one match… had a career-high 11 kills twice… got in on seven blocks in three matches… notched 11 kills on .741 hitting (11-1-14) while adding an ace, two solo blocks and a pair of assisted blocks for a career-high 16.5 points in a 3-2 loss to Cardinal Stritch (3/15/11)… hit .667 (11-1-15) with 11 kills, an ace, a solo block and two assisted blocks in a 3-1 win over Philadelphia Biblical (3/5/11)… had six kills on .556 hitting (6-1-9) plus two solo blocks and five assisted blocks in a 3-1 win over Stevens (1/30/11)… had seven assisted blocks while hitting .556 (5-0-9) in a 3-1 win over Baruch (1/30/11)… capped the season by posting six assisted blocks while hitting .444 (5-1-9) in a 3-1 loss at Penn State (4/28/11) in the EIVA Championship semifinals.

FRESHMAN (2010): Saw action in 14 matches, playing in a total of 25 sets… totaled a dozen kills, five assists, two aces and 13 blocks… hit .833 with a career-high five kills and no errors on six swings in a 3-0 win over NJIT (3/2).

HIGH SCHOOL: An All-Trinity League player as a senior at Lutheran HS of Orange County, earning a berth in the Orange County All-Star Match… senior squad was ranked fifth in the nation among high school teams… three-year letterman that helped the Lancers to the CIF quarterfinals during his junior and senior seasons.

PERSONAL: Finishing his career after sitting out the 2013 season... son of Kerry and Jeff Pickens… has an older brother, Jeff, and a younger sister, Blaire.
