JUNIOR (2014): Saw action in 28 games with 11 starting assignments in the outfield baseman for the 13-24 Scarlet Raiders after sitting out his true junior year in 2013… batted .259 with 14 hits and three RBIs… stroked a pair of doubles to finish with a .296 slugging percentage… drew four walks to log a .333 on-base percentage… stole three bases in four attempts… dropped down four sacrifice bunts… made just two errors in 33 chances in the outfield while helping to turn one double play… hit safely in nine games with four multi-hit games… went three for three with a double and scored a run in a 14-3 win over New Jersey City (4/5/14)… went two for two with an RBI in a 9-4 win over DeSales (4/2/14)… went two for three in a 10-1 loss to Rutgers-Camden (4/24/14)… collected two hits, drove in a run, scored a run and stole a base in an 8-4 win over Baruch (3/27/14).

SOPHOMORE (2012): Started 21 games while appearing in 28… hit .301 to rank third on the squad in batting average… stroked two doubles to post a .338 slugging percentage while driving in 11 runs… drew six walks to up his on-base percentage to .372… scored 16 runs while stealing three bases in as many tries… ranked second on squad with four sacrifice bunts… made just two errors in 35 chances with two assists for a .943 fielding percentage… hit safely in 16 games with five multi-hit efforts… went three for four with two RBI and two runs scored in a 16-0 win over Hampden-Sydney (3/13/12).

FRESHMAN (2011):  Earned two outfield starts while playing in 16 games for the 23-19 Scarlet Raiders… hit .188… drew one walk to finish with a .235 on-base percentage… walked and scored in a 6-5 loss to Kean (4/25/11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Honorable mention All-Northern Hills Conference and all-county as a senior at Passaic Valley HS… lettered three times for the Hornets, helping teams to a cumulative record of 49-34… senior squad went 19-11.

PERSONAL: Undecided on major field of study at R-N… son of Donna and John McCluskey… has an older sister (Lori)… father John played baseball at Bloomfield College… nickname is Jay.
