SENIOR (2014): First team
All-NJAC defender for the 16-6-0 Scarlet Raiders who finished second in the NJAC regular season (7-2-0) and posted the first NCAA D-III Championship victory in program history… started in 20 of the 21 matches in which he appeared… totaled four points on a goal and a pair of assists… assisted on both Raider goals in the historic 2-0 NCAA playoff win over host Babson (11/15/14)… netted the opening goal just 2:05 into a 4-1 win at New Jersey City (10/4/14)… a key cog in the Raider defense which limited opponents to just 24 goals and 216 shots while posting eight shutouts… defense limited opponents to less than 10 shots a dozen times while registering a 1.07 goals against average.
PROFILE OF THE WEEK (Sept. 17, 2014)
JUNIOR (2013): A defensive standout for Scarlet Raider team which finished 17-6-1, reached the NJAC Championship match for the first time in program history and earned the program’s first NCAA Championship at-large berth… started in 22 of the 23 matches in which he appeared… helped Raiders give up just 1.30 goals per match while posting six shutouts… totaled four points on a goal and a pair of assists… keyed 4-1 win over Montclair State (11/06/13) in the NJAC semifinals with an assist on the game-winning goal in the 73rd minute before scoring an insurance goal in the 79th minute following a takeaway.
SOPHOMORE (2012): Helped Brookdale Community College to a Region XIX Championship and a third place finish in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) championship tournament… started in 19 matches for the Jersey Blues… netted three goals with six assists as B.C.C. finished 18-4-1 overall with a 10-1-1 mark in the region… earned second team all-region honors.
FRESHMAN (2011): Member of a 20-1 squad at Brookdale Community College… Jersey Blues went 16-0 in Region XIX play before falling to Bergen C.C. in the finals of the Region XIX championship tournament… earned second team all-region honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two letters at Freehold Township HS… the Patriots won a state championship during his season… earned team’s rookie of the year in 2009 and sportsmanship award in 2010.
PERSONAL: Son of Margaret and Christopher Holliday… has three older brothers (Chris, Joe, and Mike)… transferred to R-N from Brookdale Community College in the fall of 2013… plans to major in business marketing.
