PROFILE OF THE WEEK

CAREER: Two-year starter and four-year letterwinner for Scarlet Raider teams which amassed a 68-45 record with three NJAC Tournament appearances, three ECAC Metro Championship Playoff berths and an NCAA Tournament bid… piled up 682 points (7.3 ppg) and 612 rebounds (6.5 rpg) in 94 games while connecting on 53.3% (282-529) of his field goal tries… led R-N in rebounding as a junior and a senior… totaled 73 steals, 46 blocked shots and 51 assists.

SENIOR (2009-10): Leading rebounder (7.4 rpg) and fourth leading scorer (9.0 ppg) for the Raiders’ 20-8 squad which earned the program’s first NCAA Tournament berth… started in 24 of 28 games, ranking second on the squad by making 53.9% (104-193) of his field goal tries… second on the team with 19 blocked shots… posted three double-doubles… scored and rebounded in every game with 10 double-digit points efforts and five games of 11 rebounds or more… opened season with a career-high 17 rebounds and 19 points in an 87-83 win over Hunter (11/17/09)… posted 14 rebounds and 13 points in a 71-67 loss to Montclair State (12/2/09)… named to Marymount Holiday Classic all-tournament team after making 14 of 18 field goals in a pair of wins as the Raiders took the championship…named NJAC Player of the Week (1/10/10) after back-to-back league wins in which he averaged 11.0 points and10.5 rebounds while hitting 80.0% of his field goal attempts… notched three blocked shots, snared a dozen rebounds and made five of six shots from the floor on his way to 11 points in a 73-46 win over Rowan (1/9/10)… tallied 14 points on six-of-eight accuracy from the floor and a two-for-two performance from the free throw line while grabbing six rebounds and making three steals in an 89-33 win over Berkeley College (12/15/09).

JUNIOR (2008-09): Led R-N in rebounding (8.2 rpg), field goal percentage (52.9%) and blocked shots (15) as Scarlet Raiders (17-13) reached the NJAC Championship Tournament title game for the first time in program history... No. 2 in the NJAC in offensive (2.79), defensive (5.38) and overall rebounding... was seventh in field goal percentage in the NJAC... posted four double-doubles, scoring in double digits 11 times while grabbing 10 or more rebounds nine times... averaged 8.3 points per game while totaling 32 steals and 19 assists... started in 16 games including the final 13 contests of the season... poured in a career-high 24 points and snared nine rebounds in a double-overtime loss to New Jersey City (1/28/09)... pulled down 16 rebounds while adding 19 points, four assists, two steals and a blocked shot in a 91-89 win over Stevens (3/4/09) in the opening round of the ECAC Metro Championship... capped season by hitting on seven of 11 field goal tries on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds in an ECAC Metro Championship semifinal loss to NYU (3/7/09)... pulled down 14 rebounds and netted 11 points in an NJAC semifinal loss to eventual NCAA D-III runner up Richard Stockton (2/27/09)... had an 11-point, 9-rebound effort in a win over Rowan (1/24/09)... pulled down a dozen rebounds and scored 10 points in an 82-80 win over Ramapo (12/3/08)... picked up a career-high four steals while posting an 11-rebound, 10-point double-double in a win over York NY (12/13/08).

SOPHOMORE (2007-08): Enjoyed a breakout season, averaging 7.6 points and 6.5 rebounds when injuries to Scarlet Raider big men forced him into action... earned starting duty in 12 of the Raiders’ final 13 games... netted double figures in scoring nine times and pulled down 10 or more rebounds seven times... recorded a team-high five double-doubles, including a 12-point, career-high 16-rebound outburst in an 87-79 loss to Brooklyn (3/5/08) in the opening round of the ECAC Metro Championship... netted 17 points, hitting seven of nine shots from the floor, and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 70-52 win over New Jersey City (2/13/08)... came off the bench to tally 16 points and haul down a dozen rebounds in a 78-61 win over Ramapo (1/19/08)... first double-double was an unexpected 13-rebound, 11-point, 2-assist, 2-block explosion in a 74-46 win over Medgar Evers (11/28/07)... notched a dozen rebounds and 10 points in a 44-43 win over Rutgers-Camden (1/26/08).

FRESHMAN (2006-07): Saw action in a dozen games, scoring a field goal and snaring a rebound in the Raiders’ 82-73 ECAC Metro tournament win over Farmingdale State (2/28/07)… collected a rebound in six games, getting two boards against NYC Tech (1/15/07) in a 73-66 victory… logged a season-high 13 minutes at William Paterson (2/15/07).

HIGH SCHOOL: All-Middlesex County performer as a senior at Middlesex HS... three-year letterwinner for the Blue Jays.
