PROFILE OF THE WEEK

CAREER: Four-year letterwinner for Scarlet Raider teams which amassed a 73-42 record with four NJAC Tournament appearances, three ECAC Metro Championship Playoff berths and an NCAA Tournament bid… career extended by a medical hardship season in 2007-08… totaled 432 points (3.9 ppg), 251 rebounds (2.3 rpg) and 32 blocks shots while playing in 110 games… connected on 54.2% (155-286) field goals and 60.7% (122-201) of his free throws.

SENIOR (2009-10): Top frontcourt reserve who earned a dozen starting assignments for the 20-8 Raiders who earned the first NCAA Tournament berth in program history… averaged 5.5 points and 3.2 rebounds while making a team-best 57.7% (60-104) of his field goal tries… shot 66.0% (35-53) from the free throw line… blocked 16 shots… scored in 24 of 28 appearances, reaching double figures three times… failed to get a rebound in just three games, notching multiple rebounds 23 times… erupted for a career-high 27 points in 27 minutes by hitting 10 of 13 shots from the field and seven of nine free throws in a 102-67 win over Medgar Evers (1/18/10) while matching his career-high in rebounds with eight… hit six of eight field goals to score 13 points in a 98-71 win over Ramapo (1/27/10)… made five of six field goals on his way to an 11-point, 4-rebound night in a 77-73 loss at Baruch (12/7/09).

JUNIOR (2008-09): Averaged 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds a game primarily as a reserve forward/center... started first nine games of the season... connected on 48.5% of his field goals tries... scored in double digits in three of his first five games, netting a 17 twice... opened season with 17 points, hitting five of six shots from the floor and seven of eight from the free throw line, and six rebounds in a win over Medgar Evers (11/15/08) in the John K. Adams Tip-Off Classic... made five of seven field goal attempts for 17 points and chipped in two steals in a 76-74 win over John Carroll (11/21/08)... pulled down a career-high eight rebounds and netted 10 points on five-for-seven shooting in a win over CCNY (11/25/08)... blocked two shots and netted nine points in a win over Kean (12/6/08).

MEDICAL HARDSHIP (2007-08): Received a medical hardship waiver after suffering a season-ending knee injury just seven games into the season... averaged 3.4 points and 1.6 assists per game while providing depth in the paint for the Raiders... made 42.9% of his field goal attempts and blocked three shots... posted six points with three offensive rebounds in a 74-46 win over Medgar Evers (11/28/07)... hauled down a season-high four rebounds in a 66-61 loss to Newport News Apprentice School (11/17/07)... chipped in five points and a blocked shot in a 71-42 win over John Jay (12/1/07).

SOPHOMORE (2006-07): Bounced back from a broken nose suffered in the pre-season to provide the Raiders with valuable minutes in the final 24 games of the season… averaged 2.7 points and 1.5 rebounds a game while hitting an even 50% (21-42) of his field goal attempts and 63.3% (19-30) of his free throws… scored nine points on perfect 4-for-4 shooting from the field in a 78-71 loss to Montclair State (2/17/07) in the final regular-season game… had at least one rebound in 17 of his 23 appearances, collaring a season-high three rebounds six times.

FRESHMAN (2005-06): Played in all but one game, averaging 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds... shot a team-best 62.7% (32-51) from the floor... top performance was a 9-point, 5-rebound effort against Rowan (1/18/06)... began career with eight points against Centenary in the John K. Adams Tip-Off Classic... collected seven rebounds at William Paterson (2/23/06) in the Raiders’ NJAC semifinal loss to the eventual champions.

PERSONAL: Half brother of senior guard De’Vion Manning.
