Biography

JUNIOR (2009): Three-year starter who started in 34 games in the outfield and behind the plate in 2009… has started in 98 of 102 career games… hit. .233 with 20 hits, seven RBIs and nine runs… hit safely in 17 games with three multiple-hit games… went two for four with two RBIs, a triple and a run scored in a 13-12, 8-inning win over St. Joseph’s LI (4/16/09)… went two for three with an RBI double against Smith (3/15/09) in the Rebel Games in Florida… went two for four with a walk and a stolen base against McDaniel (3/19/09) in Florida… had a two-run double and score in the opener of a doubleheader sweep of St. Elizabeth (4/9/09)… capped the season by hitting safely in both games of an NJAC doubleheader against Kean (4/25/09). 

SOPHOMORE (2008):
Started 33 games in her second season with the Scarlet Raiders… went one for three with an RBI and a run scored against York (PA) (03/01/08)… finished one for three with two RBIs against Keene State (03/16/08)… went two for three with a run scored against Illinois College (03/18/08) before going one for three with two runs scored and a double against Brockport State (03/18/09)… finished two for four with an RBI in the second game of a doubleheader against Rowan (04/19/08).

FRESHMAN (2007): Started in 31 games as a rookie outfielder, hitting .220 with two doubles and a triple… stole three bases in four attempts… had a .317 slugging percentage and a .289 on-base norm… led all outfielders with four assists.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport All-Jersey-Penn performer in soccer, basketball and softball, earning four letters in each sport... all-conference as a junior in softball... 1,000-point scorer, two-time all-conference selection and twice team MVP in basketball... in soccer, three-time All-Penn-Jersey League after leading team to three consecutive conference championships... four-year starter who was team’s offensive player of the year as a freshman... netted 100 goals for the Warriors, helping team to a four-year record of 72-9-1... team MVP of 19-0 squad as a sophomore, ranking second in Burlington County and third in the tri-county area in scoring... player of the year as a junior after ranking second in county in scoring to help squad to a 17-3 finish... capped high school career with 17-3-1 campaign and third league title.

PERSONAL: Majoring in English at Rutgers-Newark… has a brother, Lance… lists Charlene Clegg as the person she admires most… hopes to earn her doctorate and become a college professor… would also like to own and operate a summer sports camp for kids… favorite teams include the New York Mets and the New York Giants… favorite athlete is Eli Manning.
