FRESHMAN (2009): Regular outfielder who started in 23 of the 27 games in which she played… batted a solid .271 with a .333 slugging percentage… walked four times to push her on-base percentage to .352… went three for six with a double in a doubleheader at FDU-Florham (4/5/09)… opened her career by collecting a single a season-opening loss to Nazareth (3/13/09) in Rebel Spring Games in Florida… helped spark a doubleheader sweep of St. Elizabeth (4/9/09) with a 2-run triple in the opening game and a pinch-hit single in the nightcap… closed her year by getting hits in both games of a doubleheader loss at Kean (4/25/09).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Plainfield High School… also lettered in indoor and outdoor track and field and was a member of the cheerleading squad for the Cardinals.

PERSONAL: Walked on to make the Raider softball squad in the spring of 2009… attended Delaware State University and Union County College before transferring to Rutgers-Newark in the spring of 2009… did not participate in intercollegiate athletics at either school… majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology… plans to become a parole officer…daughter of Yvonne and Willie Breauxsaus… has an older brother, Corey… her father played football at Mississippi Valley State University (1981-84)… born in Mississippi… chose R-N because of its academic reputation and proximity to her hometown… likes the diversity of the Newark campus which allows her to expand her view through friendships… lists her family as the people she admires most… favorite team is the Los Angeles Lakers.
