PROFILE OF THE WEEK (March 2011)

SENIOR (2011):  Saw action in 13 games, getting 11 starts at third base and in the outfield… hit .238 with four RBIs and two runs scored… went three for five with and RBI and a run scored in a doubleheader sweep of City Tech… led off the season by going one for two and scoring a run in a 5-2 loss to Dickinson (3/14/11).

JUNIOR (2010): Started all 38 games playing at third, short, second and in the outfield… drove in a dozen runs with just 12 singles… drew 11 walks to post a .207 on-base percentage… hit safely in 10 games… went three for three with two RBIs and a stolen base in a 10-0 win over Brooklyn College (4/5)… went one for three with two RBIs and a sacrifice bunt in a 9-6 loss to Rutgers-Camden 4/6).

SOPHOMORE (2009): Starting third baseman in every game but one, giving her 74 starts in 75 games in Scarlet & Black for her career… led team with 100 assists while committing just nine errors… drove in seven runs and drew six walks… belted a 2-run home run in the nightcap of an NJAC doubleheader against Rutgers-Camden (3/31/09)… went two for four with two RBIs and a run scored in a 13-12, 8-inning win over St. Joseph’s (4/16/09)… went two for three with an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in the opener of a twinbill sweep over St. Elizabeth (4/9/09)… went two for four and scored twice in an 8-6 loss to McDaniel (3/19/09) at the Rebel Games in Florida. 

FRESHMAN (2008): Made 39 starts in her first season as a member of the Scarlet Raiders… earned NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after hitting .286 during Rutgers-Newark’s four-game trip to the Virginia Beach Bash… went one for two with a home run and two RBIs against Plymouth State (03/20/08)… finished two for four with an RBI in a doubleheader with William Paterson (03/29/08).
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Teaneck HS, helping the Highwaymen to back-to-back Bergen County playoff berths… earned unsung hero, best offensive player and team MVP under coaches Richie Aponte and Dana Beringhelli. 

PERSONAL: Double-majoring in history and women’s studies at Rutgers-Newark… daughter of Deborah Rubinetti and Rudolph Angeli… has four younger brothers Rudi, Joey, Liam and Chase… wants to be a teacher… lists her mother as the biggest influence on her life… favorite team is the New Jersey Devils.
