PROFILE OF THE WEEK (Jan. 14, 2009)

SENIOR (2009): Top service receiver on squad who also ranked fourth on squad with 139 kills… handled 94.9% of 823 receptions… averaged 1.83 kills and 1.61 digs per set… totaled 161.0 points for a 2.12 average… had six double-digit kill matches and four double-figure dig efforts… notched double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs in a 5-set loss to IPFW (3/27/09)… equaled a career-high with 12 digs in a pair of EIVA Hay matches against Sacred Heart (2/27/09) and 4/3/09)… was flawless in 36 receptions while adding six kills in a 3-0 loss to Ohio State (3/21/09)… opened season with a career-high 11 kills and 12.5 points in a 3-0 loss to IPFW (1/23/09)… tallied a career-high 14.0 points with 11 kills, an ace and four assisted blocks in a 3-1 win over East Stroudsburg (2/11/09)… also had 11 kills in a 3-0 win over NYU (2/18/09). 

JUINIOR (2008): Led the Raiders in reception percentage (94.8), total receptions (629), digs (129) and digs average (1.63) while playing in all but one match during the season... posted seven errorless reception matches... was flawless in 36 receptions while adding seven digs in a 3-1 loss at Ball State (4/4/08)... handled 37 serves without an error and added eight digs in a 3-0 loss to Ohio State (2/8/08)... had a season-high 11 digs to go along with a .950 reception average in 3-0 loss to IPFW (1/26/08)...notched 10 digs with just one reception error in 32 tries a 3-0 win over NYU (1/22/08)... played outside hitter in a 3-0 loss to Harvard (2/15/08), hammering down nine kills on .438 hitting and adding an ace for 10 points. 

SOPHOMORE (2007): Played in 27 matches at libero and outside hitter, ranking second on the team in games played (92)… totaled 50.5 points on 43 kills, four service aces and seven assisted blocks… registered 137 digs… had .948 reception percentage with only 33 errors in 638 chances.

FRESHMAN (2006): Split time at libero with senior Andrew Pink, averaging 1.5 digs per game... played in 101 of 107 games played by team... posted four double-digit dig games highlighted by a 12-dig effort in a 3-1 win over Princeton (4/22/06) in the EIVA Tournament quarterfinals... notched 11 digs in 3-1 win over Juniata (3/25/06)... in back-to-back matches against Ball State (3/4/06) and Princeton (3/7/06), he had 10 digs... hammered down seven kills, hitting .417 (7-2-12), in a 3-0 win over Sacred Heart (2/11/06)... amassed 9.5 points in 3-2 win at NYU (2/7/06) with six kills, five assisted blocks, a service ace and nine digs... also had six kills versus Southern Cal (2/4/06) in the championship match of The Golden Dome Classic.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2005 Central Florida Player of the Year after helping Timbercreek HS to the state semifinal round and a 28-2 record ...Wolves went a combined 90-9 during his four varsity seasons, claiming three district titles and two regional crowns ...also played basketball as a junior and senior in high school ...earned all-tournament honors in 2003 and 2004 in the East Coast Championships while playing for the Orlando Gold Volleyball Club.
