FRESHMAN (2009): Saw action in four matches, including a complete-game starting assignment in the Raiders’ 3-2 ECAC Metro Championship semifinal loss to Farmingdale State (11/14/09) when he posted a career-high five saves… registered a solid 1.32 goals against average with a 66.7 save percentage… closed out team shutout wins over Gallaudet (9/12/09), Staten Island (10/5/09) and John Jay (10/19/09).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at Madison HS... earned honorable mention all-conference as a senior. 

CLUB: Played for the Parsippany Soccer Club for the past two years.
PERSONAL: Undecided on major field of study at R-N... full name is Domenico Giovanni Martirano... twin brother Enzo is also a Raider rookie... son of Dorina and Pasquale Martirano... he and Enzo have four younger siblings: Leo, Tino, Carlo and Angelina... father Pasquale is a Rutgers-Newark graduate who played club football at the school... mother Dorina played soccer at the University of Maryland... born in Maryland... nickname is Nico.
