Biography

NOTES: R-N career record holder for goal against average (0.72) who ranks eighth in total saves (112)… all-time shutout leader at Rutgers-Newark with 15 in 38 matches… school record 24 wins in goal with an overall record of 24-6-4.

SENIOR (2010): Started seven matches while seeing action in 10 games for the 12-9-1 Raiders… posted a 1.06 goals against average while making 23 saves against eight goals allowed… make six saves on his way to a 3-0 shutout of New Jersey City (10/9)… shut out No. 3 nationally ranked and previously unbeaten Stevens (10/19) on three saves in the opening half to share a 2-0 shutout win with sophomore Jonathan Frances… got a no-save shutout in an 8-0 win over Purchase (9/9)… capped career by making two saves in the first half to share a 4-0 win over Purchase (11/3) with Jonathan Frances.

JUNIOR (2009):
Set school records for goals against average (0.75) and shutouts (9) to help Raiders to the best finish in program history… posted a 9-5-4 mark in 18 starts, helping R-N earn its first NJAC Championship Tournament berth and an ECAC Metro Championship appearance… led the NJAC in shutouts (9) and shutouts per game (0.50) while ranking second in the 10-team league in goals against average… had 56 saves while allowing 14 goals in 1678 minutes… made three saves to record a 1-0 overtime win over Richard Stockton (10/31/09) which gave the Raiders their first-ever NJAC playoff victory… notched double-overtime shutout ties against Wheaton (9/6/09) and William Paterson (9/30/09)… notched a double-overtime shutout win over Kean (10/17/09) with four saves… also had shutouts against Farmingdale State (9/9/09), Medgar Evers (9/13/09), New Jersey City (9/26/09), Albright (10/7/09) and Rowan (10/25/09)… blanked heavily-favored Montclair State for 100 minutes in a 1-0 road loss (9/23/09)… suffered a broken toe in the Raiders’ NJAC semifinal loss at Montclair State (11/4/09) which ended his season before the ECAC Metro playoffs… forced a 1-1 double-overtime tie against Brandeis (9/5/09) after the Raiders suffered an own goal in the opening minutes.

SOPHOMORE (2008):
Went 2-0 with a pair of 4-1 victories over Medgar Evers (9/7/08) and John Jay (10/13/08) as the top backup to starter Kyle Perdelwitz... totaled eight saves in 180 minutes while facing 19 shots.

FRESHMAN (2007): Went 6-0 in as many starts against non-conference opponents, allowing only one goal in over 600 minutes while backing up classmate Jonathan Frances in the goal… recorded shutout victories over St. Joseph’s VT (9/8/07), FDU-Florham (10/1/07), King’s College (10/3/07) and John Jay (10/15/07) on his way to a sparkling 0.15 goals against average… shared shutouts with classmate Solomon Schwartz in a 5-0 win over Medgar Evers (9/24/07) and a 12-0 romp against Staten Island (10/8/07), playing all but 29:30 in those contests… stopped six shots but allowed his only goal of the season while playing the entire second half of a 6-1 win over Farmingdale State (9/16/07)… made five saves in just over 70 minutes of the win over Staten Island (10/8/07).

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped Seton Hall Prep to a two-year mark of 35-5 with an Iron Hills Conference crown in 2005 and a co-championship in 2006… the Pirates went 17-3 his junior season and 18-2 his senior year… also was captain of the swimming team in 2006-07.
