JUNIOR (2013): Started in 25 of 32 games as a first baseman… hit .158 with 15 hits, 10 RBIs and 12 runs… stroked two doubles to finish with a slugging percentage of .179… drew 15 walks to post a .270 on-base percentage… made only four errors in of 247 chances… helped turn 14 double plays… went two for four with two RBIs, scored twice, doubled and walked in a 10-7 loss to Hampden-Sydney (3/02/13)… went two for four with an RBI, scored once and doubled in a 5-4 win against Montclair (3/30/13)... went two for four with two RBIs, scored once and walked once in an 11-8 loss to Alvernia University (4/16/13).
SOPHOMORE (2012): Regular first baseman who started in 34 of the 35 games in which he played… hit .296 with 34 hits, 16 RBI and 26 runs scored… totaled six doubles and a homer to post a.374 slugging percentage… drew a team-high 24 walks to up his on-base percentage to .438… delivered a team-high five sacrifice flies… hit safely in 23 games with eight multi-hit efforts… went four for five with three doubles, an RBI and a run scored in an 11-10 loss to Rowan (4/28/12)… went three for five in a 7-4 win over Whittier (3/18/12)… stroked a 3-run homer and scored twice in a 7-6 win over Misericordia (2/25/12)… went two for three with a double, a bases-loaded walk and two runs scored in a 15-1 win over DeSales (4/3/12)… had team high 269 putouts while helping to turn a team-high 24 double plays… committed just four errors in 295 chances (.986).
FRESHMAN (2011): Played in 11 games at Southern New Hampshire University (25-22), earning one starting assignment… stroked a pinch-hit, 3-run homer in a 19-5 road win over American International (3/17/11)… also singled and scored while recording a dozen put outs at first base in an 8-7 10-inning loss to Saint Rose (3/11/11)… made just one error in 24 chances in the field.
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time All-NJIL selection and three-year letterwinner at Hackensack HS… as a senior captain in 2010, hit .423 with three home runs and 28 RBIs to help Comets to a 19-11 record… second –team all-league as a junior, helping team to a 13-11 mark… first-team all-league as a sophomore… president of the National Honor Society and president of the Student Council at HHS… graduated 17th in a class of 400.
PERSONAL: Majoring in business management at R-N… son of Kathy Lee and Gerrit Troisi… has an older brother (Gerrit) and older sister (Dana)… transferred to R-N in the fall of 2011 for the quality of education and its solid baseball program.
