PROFILE OF THE WEEK (October 8, 2008)
SENIOR (2008): Started 17 matches, playing in all 21 contests, as a defender on the first Rutgers-Newark team to ever play in the ECAC Metro Championship finals... helped Raiders forge a 321-248 edge in shots... notched an assist in a 4-1 win over John Jay (10/13/08).
JUNIOR (2007): Started in 18 of 19 Scarlet Raider matches, giving him 56 starts in 60 matches for his career… scored game-winning goal in the final minutes of a 1-0 victory over John Jay (10/15/07) which is his only career tally.
MEDICAL HARDSHIP SEASON (2006): Season-ending leg injury cut short season after just six matches.
SOPHOMORE (2005): Started all 17 matches as a defender... opened the season with an assist on a restart kick in a 2-0 win over Farmingdale State (9/3/05).
FRESHMAN (2004): Started in 16 of 18 matches as a frosh... steady player who contributed at midfield and back.
HIGH SCHOOL: Second-team All-Essex County, third-team All-Northern Hills Skyline, and honorable mention all-Section 2 as a senior at West Orange HS... helped Moutaineers to back-to-back Essex County titles... senior team went 22-2-2 and took Group 4 Section 2 title... junior team was 18-2-1 and earned conference crown.
PERSONAL: Majoring in history at Rutgers-Newark.
