FRESHMAN (2009): Starting libero who averaged 2.57 digs per set while handling 93.4% of his service receptions… had just 35 reception errors in 530 chances as a rookie… had five error free reception matches… posted six double-digit dig matches highlighted by 19 digs in a 3-1 loss to Loyola-Chicago (1/24/09)… had 17 digs in back-to-back contests against Harvard (3/6/09) and NJIT (3/9/09)… came up with 16 digs and a kill in a 3-1 loss to Ball State (3/20/09)… recorded a dozen digs in matches against East Stroudsburg (1/30/09) and IPFW (3/27/09). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time All-South Coast League player who helped San Clemente HS to a pair of top five finishes in the California Interscholastic Federation... South Coast League MVP, first team All-Orange County and second team All-CIF as a senior after helping Tritons to a fifth-place finish in the CIF... as a junior was first team all-SCL, second team all-county and third team All-CIF while leading his squad to a third-place finish in the CIF... an honor roll student as a senior.

CLUB: Played this past summer for the Riptides Volleyball Club under head coach Justin DeBlasio, helping squad to a fifth-place finish at the Junior Olympic Nationals... helped Orange County Volleyball Club to a runner-up finish in 2007 and a third place showing in the 2006 junior nationals.

PERSONAL: Fourth child of Ronda and Mark Mulligan to play collegiately... oldest sister Bliss played four seasons at Radford University... second sister Breegan lettered four times at Pepperdine... older brother Dane, who played two seasons of high school volleyball with his younger brother, is in his second season at Long Beach City College.. born and raised in California... plans to major in environmental sciences and minor in music at Rutgers-Newark.
