PROFILE OF THE WEEK (Feb. 24, 2010)

JUNIOR (2010): Averaged 3.29 points and 2.70 kills per game for 13-13 Raiders… EIVA All-Academic Team selection with a 3.60 grade point average in anthropology… hit solid .265 with 189 kills 18 aces, 110 digs and 42 total blocks… reached double-figure points a dozen time and double-digit kills 11 times in 22 matches… notched career highs of 22.0 points and 20 kills on .567 hitting (20-3-30) in a 3-1 loss at Princeton (2/19)… hit .600 (13-1-20) with career bests of three aces and seven assisted blocks in a 3-0 win over Harvard (2/27)… opened his Raider career with 15 kills, seven digs and five assisted blocks in a 3-2 loss to Lewis (1/22)… had four double-digit dig matches topped by a 14-dig, 15-kill, 4-assist, 1-ace effort in a 3-2 loss to Saint Francis (1/23)… also had 15 kills and a dozen digs in a second 3-2 loss to Saint Francis (2/13)… posted 11 kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 win over NJIT (3/2)… came up his fourth double-double of the season with 10 kills and 10 digs in a 3-1 win at Springfield (4/10).

FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE (2008 & 2009): A member of Long Beach City College’s 2009 California Community College Athletic Association championship squad, helping the Vikings to an 18-1 record… LBCC went 14-5 during his freshman season, reaching the CCCAA semifinal round.

HIGH SCHOOL: South Coast League MVP and first-team All-Orange County performer at San Clemente HS… helped Tritons to a 13-1 record and a California Interscholastic Federation semifinal berth as a senior… San Clemente went 11-1 with a CIF quarterfinal appearance during his junior year.

CLUB: Plays for the Highline Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL: All three of his siblings have played collegiate volleyball… younger brother Caden played for the Scarlet Raiders as the starting libero in 2009… has two older sisters Breagan and Bliss… Breagan played four years at Pepperdine while Bliss competed for four seasons at Radford University… son of Ronda and Mark Mulligan… majoring in anthropology at Rutgers-Newark.
