Biography

FRESHMAN (2014): Saw action in 18 matches as a libero for the 9-17 Raiders… ranked sixth on the squad with 70 digs (1.27 per game)... had just three receptions errors in 54 chances for a team-best 94.4%... handled 21 serves with just one error and posted a season-high 12 digs while adding a pair of assists in a 3-1 win over NJIT (4/2/14).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two letters in volleyball at Westlake HS… Marmonte league champions junior and senior year… academic honors as a scholar athlete in 2011 and 2013.

PERSONAL: Son of Kelvin and Carolyn Yamashira… has a sister (Sara)… plans to major in business.
