NEWARK, NJ – Sophomore guard
Al'Don Muhammad dished out a career-high 13 assists as Rutgers-Newark powered its way past CCNY, 95-63, in The Golden Dome.

Muhammad, who added five points and five rebounds, helped feed a long-range barrage by the Scarlet Raiders (4-0).

Greg Moore knocking down five of seven shots from beyond the arc, Rutgers-Newark made 12 of 23 treys to generate a 15-point differential over the Beavers (2-1) who made just seven of 24 3-point attempts. Moore finished a season-high 17 points.

Reserve sophomore guard Terence Johnston paced the Beavers with 15 points, six rebounds and three assists. Also in double figures for CCNY were sophomore guard Israel Vickers with 13 points, Kenny Rubenstein with 12 and senior guard Brendan Barile with 10.
The Raiders posted season highs for points, assists (23), field goal percentage (52.9%), 3-point shots made (11) and victory margin (+32).
Rutgers-Newark now has a full week to prepare for its New Jersey Athletic Conference opener at New Jersey City on December 1.
