Amber Affholter staked the Raiders to a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the second inning, but the Cyclones piled up 19 hits and took advantage of nine Rutgers-Newark errors to run away with the decision.
Freshman right-hander
Samantha Veneziano (1-2) yielded just five earned runs while walking three in going the distance for the Raiders (2-4). Centenary (3-3) broke open the game with six unearned runs in the top of the seventh.
Ibarra doubled to lead off the bottom of the seventh and score on an infield single by Bagan to end the scoring.
Rutgers-Newark caps its spring break trip on Wednesday with a 1 o'clock game against Transylvania University and a 3 p.m. clash with the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
