NEWARK, NJ – Rutgers-Newark sophomore
Bushra Memon gained the only singles win as Richard Stockton surged to a 6-3 New Jersey Athletic Conference win on The Golden Dome Courts.

Memon improved to 8-1 in dual match singles play on the top flight with a 6-0, 6-1 win over the Osprey sophomore Krystle Bendijo and teamed with freshman
Camille Sunga for a 9-8 (7-2) win over Bendijo and sophomore Laura Church on the No. 1 doubles court.
The Scarlet Raiders (5-5, NJAC 1-4) led the match 2-1 following doubles play as junior
Ashley Lawrence and sophomore
Agnes Bangayan edged Stockton's Brittany Hall and Sam Koropchak, 8-6, on the second flight.
But the Ospreys (4-3, NJAC 2-2) dominated singles play by winning flights two through six in straight sets. Lawrence put up the best fight, falling to Hall in a first-set tie-breaker, 7-1, before the Stockton player posted a 6-0 win in the second frame.
The loss capped the Raiders' home schedule.
Rutgers-Newark travels to CCNY next Tuesday before closing out the season in an NJAC match at Kean University on Thursday at 4 p.m.
