NEWARK, N.J. | The Scarlet Raiders women's tennis program dropped their final New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) match of the season to Ramapo College. With the win, Ramapo College improved to 5-3 while Rutgers University-Newark dropped to 2-7.
In doubles, the Scarlet Raiders fell on courts one and two and earned a win in the third slot by default.Â
Down 2-1 headed into singles,
Nell Karpinski fell 6-1, 6-4 on court one while
Bryanna Thaxton fell 6-2, 6-3 in the second slot. The Scarlet Raiders earned a win in the sixth slot by default as the Roadrunners had just five players available.
The Scarlet Raiders return to action on Friday, October 11 when they host FDU-Florham.
