NEW YORK – Rutgers-Newark junior guard
Jared Tactuk hit five 3-point jumpers on her way to 22 points in a 70-60 win regular-season ending win over Lehman College at the Apex in the Bronx.

The Scarlet Raiders (17-8) hit nine of 20 treys as a team and committed just nine turnovers to offset a 15-for-30 night at the free throw line against the Lightning (15-10). Tactuk added a team-high five assists and six rebounds to her line for the night.
Sophomore guard
Kristen Venning barely missed a double-double with 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists while senior forward
Jaleesa Coleman chipped in 10 points and six rebounds for the Raiders.
Freshman guard
ShaQuanna Marshall tallied eight points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals while freshman guard
Courtney Woodard came off the bench for eight rebounds, five points and a game-high three steals.
The tandem of Jaleesa Gordon and Louvinia Hayes combined for 51 points and 23 rebounds for Lehman. Gordon, a junior center, dominated inside hitting 13 of 15 field goal tries on her way to game highs of 28 points, 14 rebounds and four blocked shots. Hayes, a senior point guard, dropped in nine of 10 free throws on her way to 23 points, nine rebounds and two assists.
Junior guard Amanda De La Cruz dished off a game-high eight assists while senior forward Tiffany Taylor came off the bench for nine rebounds for the Lightning.
Coleman had three field goals to spur a 16-4 run which staked the Raiders to a 20-9 lead. Lehman trimmed the lead to six at the half and got as close three points twice in the second period, but the Raiders never game up the lead. Venning notched all 17 of her points in the second period to help turn back the Lightning.

The NJAC playoffs begin on Saturday with Rutgers-Newark's seeding, opponent and site to be determined by the play of others on the final day of the regular season – Wednesday. The Raiders finished their conference slate with a crucial 65-60 overtime win over Montclair State on Saturday.
