Stacey Jacovinich went a combined five for five in game two, but Rowan University swept a New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader, 9-1 and 13-1, on the Rowan Softball Field.

IN GAME TWO, Wan had three singles, including an RBI hit in the fifth, while Jacovinich posted a first-inning double, a third inning single and drew a walk in the fifth. But the duo accounted for all but one of the Raiders' hits.

Sadie Logozio, who also scored Rutgers-Newark's run in the opener as a pinch runner, delivered a one-out single in the fifth and scored on Wan's last hit of the game.

Rutgers-Newark (7-21, NJAC 2-10) hosts Ramapo College at 3 p.m. on Friday in an NJAC twinbill on Alumni Field. The set was moved ahead one day because of predictions for a wet weekend.
