COLLEGEVILLE, PA – Rutgers-Newark posted eight top 10 finishes in the highly-competitive Collegeville Classic at Ursinus College.

Freshman sprinter
Dennis Willis, Jr. was second in a field of 52 in the 60-meter dash in a time of 7.13 seconds while junior
Kevon Brown placed second in the 60-meter hurdles with a clocking of 8.62. Willis was also sixth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.92.
Junior
Corey Graves had a personal best of 51.47 in the 400-meter dash to finish third in a field of 32 runners while freshman
Donnie House was seventh in 52.73. Freshman
Michael Agyei just missed the top 10 in the event, finishing 11th with a clocking of 54.65.
Senior
Vladimir Manasse ran a 2:02.61 time in the 800-meter run to take third in a field of 42 runners.
Freshman
Alex Almeida broke his one-week old record in the shot put with a best effort of 12.28 meters to finish eighth in the field of 44. Classmate
Nick DeRosa was 12th with a personal best heave of 11.89 meters.
Rutgers-Newark will compete in the Thomson Invitational at the University of Delaware next Friday and Saturday.
