Napolitano blasted a three-run homer in the fourth inning and delivered an RBI single in the ninth to pace the Scarlet Raiders' 10-hit attack, but the Crusaders (23-8) notched a dozen hits against four Rutgers-Newark pitchers in the slugfest.

Vin Troisi went two for four with a two-run single in the seventh inning while freshman leftfielder
Cameron Dias had an RBI double in the second and singled in the fourth. Sophomore designated hitter
Graham Commesso brought home the other Raider run with a sacrifice fly to cap the three-run seventh inning.
Senior
Michael Schneider (0-4) took the loss, giving up four earned runs on seven hits while walking two in 2-2/3 innings of starting duty as the Raiders fell into an 8-1 hole.
Senior outfielder Leon Stimpson went three for three with three RBI for Alvernia while sophomore catcher Dustin Arnold drove in four runs with a sacrifice fly to cap a four-run outburst in the first, a RBI single to ignite a four-run rally in the third inning and a two-run single in the sixth.
Freshman right-hander Matt Osgoodby (1-2) got his first career win by working 5-2/3 innings. He allowed four runs on six hits before turning the game over to the Crusader bullpen.
It was the seventh straight loss for the Raiders (7-23).
Rutgers-Newark is at Ramapo on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. for a New Jersey Athletic Conference game before hosting the Roadrunners in Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium on Friday at the same time to complete the regular-season home-and-away series.
Saturday at noon, the Raiders host Richard Stockton in an NJAC doubleheader in the stadium.
