EWING, NJ – Rutgers-Newark found out first hand why The College of New Jersey has won an incredible 152 consecutive matches in New Jersey Athletic Conference play as the Lions notched a 9-0 sweep at the TCNJ Tennis Complex.

Michelle Kvitnitsky was the only Scarlet Raiders to win a game, falling 6-0, 6-1, to sophomore Jasmine Muniz-Cadorette on the No. 2 singles court. TCNJ did not drop a game in doubles play before storming through the six singles contests. The Lions have suffered just one loss – on the No. 6 singles court – in three conference victories this season.
Rutgers-Newark (2-4, NJAC 0-4) will host Lehman College on The Golden Dome Courts on Wednesday before travelling to Kean University on Thursday for another NJAC contest.
