Vihang Patel took their opponents to an 8-5 decision at third doubles while senior
Kevin Martin and junior
Richard Nguyen kept Baruch on the court even longer but still fell by an 8-5 score. Senior

Davis and Patel were the most competitive in singles play. Davis lost 6-1 in the first set at the top singles position but fought back and forced a tiebreak in the second set. Patel won the opening set of his sixth singles match, 6-2, before eventually falling in a long third stanza pro set 13-11.
Bustani added, "Brandon and Vihang really did a good job of adjusting to their opponents' play, changing their strategies to stay in the match and earning more opportunities to win. I was very pleased to see them compete and stick with the match all the way through."
