Williams Shines Once Again At Bill Fritz Invitational

GLASSBORO, NJ | The men's outdoor track & field squad went south to participate in the Bill Fritz Invitational at Rowan University on Saturday morning.

Maninder Singh took 15th in the 1500m run with a time of 4:20.04.

Cedric Augustin (7th, 53.58) and Rendell Amilcar (8th, 54.31) finished back-to-back in the 400m dash while Justin Lee took 12th with a time of 57.31. Daniel Rivera rounded out the squad for the Scarlet Raiders with a time of 58.29 and a 14th place finish.

Rivera also raced in the 800m run and finished 24th with a time of 2:29.45.

Rendell Amilcar finished top-10 in the 200m dash with a time of 23.94.

Augustin was back on the track, only this time in the field events where he jumped 6.00m in the long jump, good for 7th place.

Timaul Williams grabbed 5th in the hammer throw with a toss of 43.83m while Sean Deuer took 10th in his first-ever hammer throw with a distance of 25.67m. Dylan Woods-Tomczak (11th, 18.75m) and Hunter Eldrige (12th, 17.96m) rounded out the scoring for the Scarlet Raiders in the hammer throw.

Woods-Tomczak hit a personal-best in the javelin throw with a toss of 42.17m, good for 7th while Deuer took 8th with a distance of 40.95m.

Eldrige took the final spot in the shot put with a toss of 10.04m.

Williams once again took the top spot in the discus throw, grabbing first with a throw of 46.30m. Eldrige gave the Scarlet Raiders an 11th place finish with a toss of 29.63m.
