LEXINGTON, KY | The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its annual AVCA All-America teams for NCAA Division III men's volleyball. Andrew Zaleck was named Second Team All-America for the second year in a row.
Zaleck picks up his fourth major award of the 2021 season, earning NVA/AVCA Second Team All-America. This award adds to the list of awards that include 2021 NJAC Player of the Year, 2021 CVC First Team All-Conference, and 2021 AVCA Division III All-East Region.
Zaleck powered the Scarlet Raiders' offense this season and led the team with 192 kills and had a career-high 28 kills against New Jersey City University to start the year. He hit .289 for the year and added 19 service aces to go along with 30 blocks (4 solo). Zaleck also led the team with 228 points. He finished 9th in the country with 4.17 kills per set and 20th in attacks per set with 8.65.
He will now head into the off season and prepare for his third season as they search for a berth to the NCAA Tournament.
