Muyingo & Amilcar Shine For The Scarlet Raiders at the Ramapo College Opener

NEW YORK, NY | The Rutgers University-Newark men's indoor track and field team raced at the Ramapo Invite this afternoon at The Armory.

Cedric Augustin and Jaheim Wimberly-Cole finished with times of 24.20 and 24.62, respectively, in the 200m dash, earning them spots at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championship (AARTFC). Nicholas Branco took 44th with a time of 59.01 which also gave him a time good for AARTFC.

Emmanuel Boone took 14th in the 600m with a time of 1:27.94 while Justin Lee and Joshua Akinsolu were close behind with times of 1:31.27 and 1:33.21, all good to make the AARTFC. Diego Gomes placed 43rd in the 800m after registering a time of 2:26.21. Vincenzo Marinaro took 42nd in the mile with a time of 5:12.04 while Adam Abushanab finished top 10 in the 5000m with a time of 15:48.86. Zachariah Muyingo shined in the high jump, taking second with a jump of 1.91m. Rendys Amilcar took second in the triple jump with a distance of 14.03m.
