Amilcar Shines for the Scarlet Raiders at the Blue & White Invitational

LANCASTER, PA | Rendys Amilcar continued his great form at the Blue & White Invitational held at Franklin & Marshall on Friday afternoon. 

In the 60m dash, Amilcar took 4th with a time of 7.26 to lead the Scarlet Raiders. Jordan Hartley recorded a 22nd place finish after racing across the line, clocking a time of 7.56. Diego Gomes and Nicholas Branco rounded out the 60m dash with times of 7.75 and 8.16, respectively. 

Jaheim Wimberly-Cole ran his way to a 20th place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 24.66. Cedric Augustin finished top-5 in the 400m dash, clocking a time of 53.07. Joshua Akinsolu finished one second later for 12th with a time of 54.48. 

Emmanuel Boone topped the list for the Scarlet Raiders in the 800m, taking 16th after recording a time of 2:05.46. Justin Lee clocked a time of 2:09.72 while Vincenzo Marinaro clocked in at 2:21.29. Adam Abushanab placed 4th in the 5000m event with a time of 16:03.12. 

Hartley jumped a distance of 6.30m in the long jump while Zachariah Muyingo took 6th with a jump of 6.22m. In the triple jump, the Scarlet Raiders swept the podium with Amilcar (1st, 13.78m), Hartley (2nd, 13.62m) and Muyingo (3rd, 12.92m). Both Amilcar and Hartley's jumps gave them qualifying distances for the AARTFC. 

In the shot put, Hunter Eldrige placed 11th with a toss of 11.52m while Samuel Rosas followed him up with a distance of 10.47m. Sean Deuer led the Scarlet Raiders in the weight throw with a throw of 11.56m. Dylan Woods-Tomczak followed closely behind in 17th after recording a distance of 11.14m while Marcus Hinds tallied a throw of 11.13m.
