Hartley Headlines NJAC Awards With Co-Rookie of the Year

PITMAN, NJ | Jordan Hartley of the Rutgers University-Newark indoor track & field squad was named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Co-Rookie of the Year alongside Kwaku Nkrumah of Rowan. 

Hartley was also named First Team All-NJAC in the High Jump while Rendys Amilcar was also named First Team All-NJAC. 

Hartley was outstanding all season for the Scarlet Raiders and that came to a head at the NJAC Championships where he set the Rutgers-Newark record in the high jump (2.01m) and took gold. Amilcar also found himself atop the podium for the triple jump (13.97m), an event he stood out in all season.
