Men's Track & Field Race at the Ramapo Invite

NEW YORK, NY | The Rutgers University-Newark men's track and field team raced at the Ramapo Invitational on Friday afternoon at The Armory.

Choice Dousuah took 11th in the 200m with a time of 22.91, a personal record, while Cedric Augustin took 49th in the same event (24.20). Diego Gomes finished 18th with a time of 51.89 in the 400m with Christopher Williams finished two seconds later (53.67), good for 35th.

Samprit Bajracharya took 44th in the 800m with time of 2:17.51 and Kayne Stevens finished 47th (2:21.09). Daniel Cortez placed 34th in the mile run with a time of 5:29.01 and Adam Abushanab recorded a 6th place finish in the 3000m run with a time of 9:06.89.

At Ocean Breeze in Staten Island, NY for the Gotham Cup, Hunter Eldrige tossed a distance of 10.35m (21st) in the shot put, five spots ahead of teammate Azor Chareyre (26th, 7.24m).
