Men's Track & Field Races at the FastTrack National Invitational

STATEN ISLAND, NY | The Rutgers-Newark men's track & field team raced at the FastTrack National Invitational on Friday held at Ocean Breeze.

Adam Abushanab ran in the 5000m with a time of 15:3.84, good for 25th. Diego Gomes raced in the 60m dash and placed 98th (7.65). Nicholas Branco rounded the racers for the Scarlet Raiders with a time of 8.47. Daniel Cortez finished the mile run in 5:11.68. Cedric Augustin sprinted in the 400m dash and crossed the finish line in 52.27 (45th). In the same event, Christopher Williams finished 75th (53.31).

Andrew Mark tallied a time of 2:04.00 in the 800m. Samprit Bajracharya, in the same event, recorded a time of 2:19.20. Choice Dousuah took 29th in the 200m dash with a time of 22.60. Hunter Eldrige tossed a distance of 10.09m in the shot put good for 41st. Azor Chareyre recorded a throw of 6.58m.
