Auguste with Two Fourth-Place Finishes at Ramapo Season Opener

NEW YORK, NY – Members of the Rutgers-Newark women's track & field team competed at the Ramapo Season Opener today at the world famous Armory in Manhattan.

On the track, Love Baker sprinted to a time of 9.81 seconds in the 60-meter dash for a new personal record. Morgan Marckres represented the distance runners, racing to a time of 11:54.91 in the 3,000-meter run.

For the second straight week, Shanil Auguste had a solid performance in the circle. She placed fourth in the shot put with a distance of 11.27 meters (36-11.75). She then followed it up with a fourth-place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 15.11 meters (49-07.00) which ranks 37^th in Division III this season.
