EWING, NJ – Rutgers-Newark traveled to TCNJ this weekend to compete in the Lions Invitational, with several standout performances from the Scarlet Raiders.
Zrreyah Moore had an outstanding weekend, finishing second in both the 200m and 400m events. Her times placed her among the top 25 nationally in Division III for both events. Moore clocked 24.40 in the 200m, ranking her 19th in Division III, and posted a 55.92 in the 400m, placing her 21st nationally.
Fejiro Akiri also delivered strong performances for the Scarlet Raiders, placing 11th in the hammer throw with a mark of 44.60 meters. She followed that up with a 10th-place finish in the shot put, recording a throw of 11.89 meters.
