Pitman, N.J. - The NJAC released their 2025 All-Conference Baseball Teams on Friday. Senior infielder Eric Recchia capped off an impressive collegiate career by being named to the All-NJAC Second Team, marking the second straight year he earned all-conference honors. A First Team selection in 2024, Recchia followed up with another standout performance in his senior campaign, proving to be one of the most reliable and well-rounded players in the NJAC. Starting all 37 games for Rutgers-Newark, he hit .295 across 132 at-bats, collecting 39 hits, 14 doubles, 5 home runs, and 24 RBIs. He also posted a team-leading .466 on-base percentage, showcasing excellent plate discipline and a knack for getting on base in key situations.

On the defensive side, Recchia was flawless. He recorded 81 putouts without committing a single error, finishing the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Whether it was turning double plays or making the routine look easy, his steady glove gave the Scarlet Raiders consistency in the infield and helped anchor the team's defense throughout the year.

Recchia's second straight All-NJAC honor solidifies his status as one of the top players in the conference. His big plays and steady presence on the field made him a key factor in the success of the Rutgers-Newark program this season.
