NEW YORK, NY - The Scarlet Raiders opened 2026 at the Ramapo Indoor Season Opener on Friday. 

WOMEN'S
Freshman Sanai Boyd led Rutgers-Newark placing 5th in the 60 meter dash with a time of 9.40. 

MEN'S 
Azor Chareye led the way placing 9th in the shot put, throwing a distance of 11.21m. Freshman Ralph Atorkui finished 16th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.97 and placed 15th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.41. 

In the 4x400 relay, the group of Ralph Atorkui, Kareem Hassan, Julian Tummings, and Shareek Prophet finished 17th with a time of 3:44.82. 

The Scarlet Raiders will be back in action next Saturday as they travel to Ardmore, PA as they'll compete in the Seamus McElligot Invitational.
