Rutgers-Newark Athletics

SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Started in eight of the Raiders’ first nine games before settling into the role of a key reserve in the front court... averaged 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game while seeing action in 29 games... exploded for 18 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in a loss to Baruch (12/8/08), hitting six of nine shots from both the floor and the free throw line. 

FRESHMAN (2007-08): Averaged 8.4 points and 3.5 rebounds while starting in 10 of the 25 games in which he played at the College of Mount St. Vincent... scored in double digits nine times... tallied a career-high 23 points – hitting nine of 11 shots from the floor – with seven rebounds in a 112-108 loss to St. Joseph’s NY (2/14/08) on Valentine’s Day... netted 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a 104-95 win over Bard (1/14/08)... made eight of 10 field goal attempts on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds in a 122-68 romp over Bard (2/6/08)... posted an 18-point, 8-rebound, 3-steal effort in a 80-70 loss to St. Joseph’s NY (1/9/08), making seven of 11 shots from the floor... had 13 points and eight rebounds in a 101-71 win over Purchase (1/24/08)... capped season with 10 points, four rebounds and three steals in a 93-85 win over Purchase (2/23/08). 

PREP SCHOOL (2006-07): Played at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT... he also lettered in track for the New England Prep School championship team. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time all-division pick, four-year letterwinner and a 1,000-point scorer at St. Joseph’s of Metuchen... played on squads which took two division titles, and played in one Greater Middlesex County championship game and two Middlesex County semifinal rounds... all four teams posted winning records with his sophomore, junior and senior squads posting a cumulative record of 53-26. 

PERSONAL: Plans to major in business at Rutgers-Newark... his father, Kenneth Sr., played basketball on the Mercer County College team which finished second in the national junior college championship tournament.
