SOPHOMORE (2013): NJCBA DivisionII-III All-State third team… appeared in 29 games with 26 starting assignments as a first baseman or designated hitter… hit .287 with 27 hits, 12 runs scored and a dozen RBIs… stroked two doubles to post a .309 slugging percentage… walked 14 times to finish with a .382 on-base percentage… went two for three with one run scored, two RBIs and walked twice 17-10 loss to Old Westbury (4/09/13)…went one for three with a run scored, an RBI and walked once 6-3 loss to Richard Stockton (4/20/13)… went three for four with two runs scored and a double in a 20-9 loss to Misericordia (4/23/13).

FRESHMAN (2012): Appeared in 18 games with four late-season starting assignments… top pinch hitter as a rookie… hit .214... drew four walks to up his on-base percentage to .333... in his first college game, went two for two with an RBI and a run scored in a 12-1victory over St. Joseph’s -Brooklyn (2/18/12) in Myrtle Beach, SC… had an RBI single and scored in run in an 11-10 loss to Rowan (4/28/12).

HIGH SCHOOL:  Three-year letterman and member of 25-4 Non-Public A State Championship team at Christian Brothers Academy (2009)… hit .364 with a .509 slugging percentage as a senior for the Colts.

PERSONAL:  Plans to major in business at R-N… son of Faith Smith and Gerard Commesso… has an older brother (Ryan) and a younger sister (Olivia).
