Senior middle hitter
Jon Keller added 14 kills on 18 swings with just on error to hit .722, delivered three aces and got in on seven blocks for the Scarlet Raiders (5-9) who won their fourth straight match.
Rutgers-Newark snapped a string of five straight 5-set losses this season, coming back from a 2-1 deficit in sets to erase the streak. Set scores were 30-26, 26-30, 24-30, 30-19, 15-12.
Junior setter
Jeff Zornig posted 60 assists while spreading the attack for the Raiders who hit a solid .326. He also had six kills on nine attacks, four assisted blocks and seven digs.

Dane Mulligan added 13 kills, a pair of aces, a solo block, three assisted blocks and seven digs for Rutgers-Newark. Rookie middle hitter
Mark Kochan notched nine kills on only 12 swings while chipping in a solo block, three assisted blocks and five digs.

Tomas Goldsmith came up with a team-high nine digs for the Raiders.
Andrew Dentler had a match-high 25 kills for the Patriots (4-9).
