Nandini Gami came up with the only on-court singles victory for the Scarlet Raiders as Rutgers University-Newark fell to FDU-Florham, 6-3, in a non-conference match on The Golden Dome Courts.
Box Score Gami downed the Devils' Ore Obiwumi, 6-2, 6-3, on the No. 4 court while junior
Jamie Lee Buhain won by default on the No. 6 court to account for the Raiders' points in singles.

Racquel Asante and sophomore
Kimberly Gonzalez battled to an 8-6 decision over Tenzin Lama and Trisha Paul on the No. 3 court.
Raider freshman
Danielle Merritt fell in three sets to Jill Duke, 6-2, 2-6, 10-8, on the second flight while Asante dropped a 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 decision on the No. 5 court in the tightly contested match.

Catherine Popow defaulted the No. 1 doubles match to Nu-Kermeni Kermah and Serina Grande after having constructed a 7-5 lead.
Rutgers-Newark is at Lehman College on Thursday at 4 p.m.
