NEWARK, N.J. (April 13, 2017) – The Rutgers University-Newark baseball team will be on the road for all four of its New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) games for a third-straight weekend.

The team will be play at William Paterson University on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. as scheduled, but the Raiders' single contest against the Pioneers Friday scheduled for Riverfront Stadium will be played at Paterson. The team will also now travel to Glassboro, N.J. for a twinbill against Rowan University on Saturday.

The College of New Jersey and William Paterson currently are tied atop the NJAC standings at 5-1, while Rowan sits one game back of the Scarlet Raiders (4-2) at 3-3.

R-N (15-6-1 overall, 4-2 NJAC) most recently played No. 11 Alvernia University to an 8-8 tie Wednesday evening at Kean University.

In addition to the above changes, Rutgers-Newark is working to reschedule postponed contests with Baruch and DeSales for next week.
